Position Summary We are seeking a caring, dependable, and enthusiastic Early Childhood Teacher who has a genuine love for young children and a passion for Christian education. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality instruction while helping children build a strong foundation in both learning and faith. Responsibilities Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom for children ages 1-4 years. Plan and teach developmentally appropriate lessons and learning activities. Teach age-appropriate Bible stories, memory verses, and Christian values. Lead children in daily prayer and teach them simple biblical prayers. Lead worship through age-appropriate Christian songs and praise. Encourage Christ-like character, including kindness, respect, honesty, obedience, and compassion. Foster children's academic, social, emotional, physical, and spiritual growth. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom. Supervise children at all times to ensure their safety and well-being. Communicate professionally with parents regarding their child's progress and daily activities. Complete attendance, lesson plans, and required classroom documentation. Follow all school policies, health and safety procedures, and state licensing requirements. Work collaboratively with administration and fellow teachers. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required (CDA, TCC, or Early Childhood Education coursework preferred). Previous experience working with young children is preferred. Demonstrates a personal commitment to Christian values and enjoys teaching children about God's love. Strong communication, organization, and classroom management skills. Dependable, patient, energetic, and nurturing. Must successfully pass all required background checks and meet state requirements.
