Grayson Academy is seeking an experienced, hands-on Assistant Director to join our leadership team. This is more than a management position. Coach, mentor, and develop teaching staff. Build positive relationships with children, families, and employees. Maintain compliance with Georgia childcare licensing regulations and Quality Rated standards. Assist with staffing, scheduling, classroom support, and center operations. Step into classrooms as needed to maintain quality care and licensing ratios. Model professionalism, teamwork, and strong leadership every day. Help foster a positive, respectful, and accountable workplace culture. Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of experience in a licensed childcare center. CDA, TCC, Associate's Degree, Bachelor's Degree, or higher in Early Childhood Education or a related field. Working knowledge of Georgia BFTS regulations. Experience with Quality Rated standards is strongly preferred. Previous leadership or management experience is preferred. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Reliable, dependable, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Comfortable providing classroom support whenever needed.
