- Part-time Grayson Academy is seeking a dependable Part-Time Pre-K Closing Teacher to join our team.
This position works Monday through Friday from 2:30 PM to 7:30 PM . As the afternoon teacher, you will relieve the daytime classroom staff and assume responsibility for the classroom through dismissal and closing. We are looking for someone who can confidently manage a classroom, create a positive learning environment, and build strong relationships with children and families. Responsibilities Relieve the daytime teacher at 2:30 PM and ensure a smooth classroom transition. Lead the classroom independently throughout the afternoon. Supervise children during centers, outdoor play, snack, and dismissal. Foster a safe, engaging, and nurturing learning environment. Communicate professionally with families during afternoon pickup. Complete all classroom closing duties. Maintain classroom cleanliness and organization. Follow Bright from the Start licensing regulations, Quality Rated standards, and Grayson Academy policies. Communicate important information from the afternoon with the lead teacher. Is This You? Dependable and punctual. Confident managing a classroom independently.
