Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and energetic Opening Shift Daycare Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will be instrumental in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children during their formative years. This shift begins at 6:00 A.M, Monday-Friday. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's lives while working in a collaborative and dynamic setting. Duties Supervise children closely to ensure their safety and well-being at all times, providing attentive child supervision throughout the day. Foster a positive classroom atmosphere that encourages curiosity, creativity, and social-emotional growth through interactive activities. Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that supports learning and development activities. Skills Proven experience working with children in a daycare, preschool, or early childhood education setting. Knowledge of childhood development principles and child development instruction techniques. Certification in first aid, CPR, including pediatric first aid training. Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is highly desirable. Strong classroom management skills to guide behavior effectively while maintaining a nurturing environment. Excellent communication skills for parent interaction and team collaboration. Familiarity with daycare center operations, including child supervision protocols and classroom experience. Ability to adapt activities for infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children to support their developmental needs. Join us in shaping young minds!
