Responsibilities Lead daily classroom activities tailored to infants' developmental stages, ensuring a nurturing and stimulating environment Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans focused on early childhood development and learning milestones Monitor and support individual child needs, including those with disabilities or special education requirements Maintain accurate records of each child's progress, health information, and developmental milestones in compliance with mandated reporting laws Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's growth, behavior, and daily experiences to foster strong partnerships Ensure safety protocols are followed diligently, including child supervision at all times and adherence to pediatric first aid and CPR guidelines Manage classroom behavior using positive behavior management strategies to promote cooperation and emotional well-being Qualifications CDA, TCC, Associates Degree,Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree Proven experience working with infants in daycare centers or early childhood education settings Knowledge of child development instruction, childhood development principles, and early learning standards Certification in first aid, CPR, and pediatric first aid required; ongoing training preferred Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is highly desirable Strong classroom management skills coupled with excellent communication abilities for parent interactions Familiarity with mandated reporting laws related to child safety and welfare Demonstrated ability to lead a team of childcare professionals while maintaining a warm, supportive environment for childrenJoin us in creating joyful learning experiences that empower young children to thrive!
