Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and energetic Infant/Toddler Teacher to inspire and nurture the youngest learners in our early childhood education program. In this role, you will create a warm, engaging classroom environment that promotes growth, curiosity, and development for children ages 6 weeks to 2 years old (we are hiring for both classrooms--we will ask your preference on which one). Your enthusiasm and dedication will help lay the foundation for lifelong learning, fostering social-emotional skills, early literacy, and basic numeracy through innovative lesson planning and hands-on activities. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that supports toddler development across cognitive, social, emotional, and physical domains Plan and execute engaging lessons that incorporate literacy education, early intervention strategies, and foundational math concepts Manage classroom activities to ensure a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children Utilize behavior management techniques to promote positive social interactions and emotional regulation Collaborate with families to communicate children's progress, developmental milestones, and any concerns effectively Maintain accurate records of children's attendance, developmental progress, and classroom activities in compliance with licensing standards Support children's physical needs through proper toddler care practices, including feeding, diapering, and hygiene routines Skills Strong knowledge of childhood development principles specific to infants and toddlers Experience in curriculum development tailored to early childhood education standards Proficiency in classroom management and lesson planning for young learners Ability to work effectively with children requiring special education or early intervention services Excellent communication skills to engage with children, parents, and team members clearly and empathetically Familiarity with standardized testing methods used in early childhood assessment Demonstrated ability to manage behavior positively while fostering independence and curiosity Experience in childcare settings such as daycare or private preschools is highly desirable Skills in teaching physical education activities that promote gross motor skills development Join us as an Infant and Toddler Teacher if you are committed to nurturing the next generation of learners through energetic teaching, thoughtful lesson planning, and compassionate care.
