Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in childcare and early childhood development, with the ability to create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners. This position involves working closely with preschool-aged children to foster their social, emotional, and cognitive development through engaging activities and structured learning experiences. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning and growth in various domains including social, emotional, physical, and cognitive skills. Create a safe and welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and creativity. Monitor and assess children's progress, adapting teaching methods to meet individual needs. Manage classroom behavior effectively, using positive reinforcement strategies to promote good conduct. Communicate regularly with parents regarding children's development, achievements, and any concerns. Collaborate with other educators and staff to enhance the educational experience for all students. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the classroom and learning materials. Provide first aid as necessary, ensuring the health and safety of all students. Requirements Proven experience in childcare or early childhood education settings. Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices. Familiarity with behavior management techniques to support diverse learners. Experience working with children who may require special education services is a plus. Ability to create engaging lesson plans that educate while entertaining young children. Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues. A nurturing attitude with a passion for teaching young children.
