Job Description
Overview We are seeking a passionate Preschool Music Teacher to join our team at Impact Early Learning Academy. In this role, you will play a vital part in fostering the cognitive and motor development of young children through our innovative curriculum that emphasizes faith in Jesus Christ, the arts, academics, athletics, and bilingual education. The ideal candidate will be able to teach elementary-level music to preschoolers, lead chapel praise and worship and will utilize innovation and creativity in the execution of their role. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of preschool students.
- Create a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment that encourages creativity and exploration.
- Assess and monitor children's progress in their cognitive, social, and emotional development.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum development and educational practices.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
- Incorporate faith-based activities into daily lessons to promote biblical understanding. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Music Education, Christian Ministry or comparable experience preferred.
- Demonstrated experience working with young children in an educational setting.
- Strong skills in lesson planning and curriculum development.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in childcare.
- Ability to create a positive learning environment that fosters creativity and growth.
