TEACHER/ COUNSELOR.

The position is perfect for teachers, retirees and college students looking for a flexible schedule and supplemental income. In this role, you will provide a safe and nurturing environment for children during the camp day by facilitating their learning and development through engaging activities. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and the ability to manage a classroom effectively while promoting positive behavior and fostering educational growth. Responsibilities Supervise and engage with students in a safe and supportive environment. Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with educational standards. Foster positive relationships with students, encouraging their social, emotional, and academic development. Manage classroom behavior effectively, utilizing behavior management techniques as needed. Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and any concerns. Maintain a clean and organized classroom space. Requirements Experience working with children in settings such as daycare, camp, or tutoring is preferred. Strong classroom management skills to maintain a productive learning environment. Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices. Must pass background check Must have own transportatipn, ride share. Ability to demonstrate effective behavior management strategies. A passion for teaching and nurturing young minds through creative play and structured learning.
