Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote literacy, math, physical activity, and social-emotional development for toddlers Create a safe, welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and independence Engage children in hands-on activities that support their cognitive, motor, and language skills Manage classroom behavior with positive reinforcement strategies and effective behavior management techniques Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns Follow mandated reporting laws to ensure child safety and welfare at all times Maintain accurate records of lesson plans, developmental assessments, and daily activities Requirements Experience working with children in early childhood or preschool settings, especially with toddlers Knowledge of child development principles, childhood education best practices, and classroom management strategies Familiarity with curriculum development, literacy education, and preschool teaching methodologies Certification in first aid and CPR is required; knowledge of special education or early intervention is a plus Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with parents, colleagues, and administrators Ability to adhere to mandated reporting laws and uphold child welfare standards Prior classroom experience in private or preschool environments is preferred Passion for early childhood education with a focus on toddler care and development Join us in shaping the future by nurturing the youngest minds today!
