Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Daycare Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and educational environment for children in our care. This role involves working with infants, focusing on their developmental needs while fostering a love for learning through play and structured activities. Duties Provide attentive and compassionate care to infants. Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote education through play. Manage classroom behavior effectively, ensuring a positive learning environment. Foster social, emotional, and cognitive development through interactive activities. Maintain a clean and organized classroom setting conducive to learning. Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns. Administer first aid when necessary and ensure the safety of all children in the classroom. Collaborate with other staff members to support children with special education needs. Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities. Requirements Experience in infant care or childcare settings is preferred. Knowledge of classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies. Familiarity with early childhood education principles, particularly in preschool settings. First aid certification is highly desirable. Ability to work effectively with children of varying abilities, including those requiring special education support. Strong communication skills to interact positively with children, parents, and colleagues. A nurturing attitude and a passion for educating young children.
