What You'll Do Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom where every child feels valued. Lead a classroom team while maintaining consistent routines, expectations, and quality care. Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lessons Foster independence, creativity, and confidence through play-based and project-based learning. Use Playground to manage family communication, attendance, and classroom documentation. Partner with families to support each child's growth and development. Work in the classroom where needed while maintaining strong leadership and continuity of care. Support children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development through intentional teaching and daily interactions. Maintain a clean, organized, and well-managed classroom environment that meets licensing and safety standards. Requirements Bright from the Start / Georgia Standards CDA (Child Development Associate) or higher in Early Childhood Education. Preferred credentials include TCC, TCD, Associate's degree, or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field. Minimum 1 year of experience in a licensed childcare setting . Toddler and/or preschool experience is strongly preferred. CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain within a required timeframe. Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and meet all Bright from the Start requirements. Strong classroom management, lesson planning, and team leadership skills. Ability to work with different age groups as needed while maintaining high-quality care and instruction. Strong communication and organizational skills. A warm, enthusiastic teacher who genuinely enjoys guiding early learners. A confident lead teacher who can step in where needed and maintain excellence.
