Overview We are seeking an energetic and passionate Lead Infant Teacher to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment for infants. Your leadership will ensure that each child's individual needs are met while fostering a love of learning from the earliest stages of development. Duties Lead daily classroom activities focused on infant development, including play, learning, and social interactions Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards Supervise and support assistant teachers and caregivers to maintain a positive classroom atmosphere Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, including pediatric first aid and CPR procedures Monitor and document each child's developmental progress and behavior management strategies Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment that encourages exploration and growth Requirements Proven experience working with infants in a childcare or daycare setting Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices Certification in first aid, CPR, and pediatric first aid required; ongoing training preferred Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus Strong classroom management skills and ability to lead a team effectively Excellent communication skills for parent engagement and team collaboration Familiarity with mandated reporting laws and child supervision best practices Passion for early childhood education and creating a nurturing learning environment Join us to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our youngest learners!
