Duties Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote infant development across cognitive, motor, social, and emotional domains. Provide attentive supervision to ensure the safety and well-being of all infants in your care at all times. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and daily experiences to foster strong relationships. Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning. Follow all health and safety protocols, including pediatric first aid and CPR procedures, to respond effectively in emergencies. Support individual developmental needs by adapting activities for infants with special needs or disabilities. Document developmental milestones and observations to track each child's growth and inform future planning. Requirements Prior experience working with infants in daycare centers, preschools, or similar settings is highly preferred. Knowledge of childhood development instruction, behavior management, and classroom management techniques. Certification in first aid, CPR, including pediatric first aid training. Familiarity with mandated reporting laws related to child safety and abuse prevention. Strong communication skills for effective parent engagement and team collaboration. Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues to create a positive learning environment. Demonstrated understanding of early childhood education principles specific to infant care. Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus. Passion for nurturing young children's growth through engaging activities and compassionate care.
