Job Description
We are a small preschool of only 6 children looking for a passionate and patient teacher to join us long term. Hours would be Monday-Friday 7:45am-3:15pm.
Responsibilities:
- Create and implement weekly age-appropriate lesson plans for ages 2-5
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Assess and monitor each child's progress and provide feedback to parents
- Change diapers and assist with potty-training
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of experience working with preschool/kindergarten-aged children in a preschool or educational setting
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children and parents
- Proficient in creating and implementing lesson plans that align with educational standards
- Bachelor's degree in Education or ECE credits preferred
- Familiarity with the Montessori teaching method is highly preferred
