Job Description
We are seeking dedicated individuals who have a passion for working with children. If you are patient, compassionate, and enjoy helping children learn and grow, we would love to hear from you! We're currently hiring for part or full-time positions for an infant (ages 6 weeks
- 24 months) room teacher and a floater teacher (infant and big room).
Duties:
- Provide attentive and compassionate care to children in a childcare setting which includes feeding, diapering, toileting, and napping
- Create a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Encourage positive behavior and good manners
- Help develop age-appropriate activities to provide educational experiences and build socialization skills
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the classroom or daycare area
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians providing updates on child's progress
Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Clear a criminal background check
- Certification in Mandatory Child Abuse Reporter Training and Essentials Preservice Training (paid training available if completed within first 3 months of employment)
- Certification in infant, child, and adult CPR and First Aid (paid training available if competed within first 3 months of employment)
Experience:
- Previous experience in caregiving, nannying, preschool, or related field is preferred
- Knowledge of childhood development and early childhood education principles
- Familiarity with behavior management strategies for children ages 6 weeks
- 5 years
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Note:
Babysitting experience may be considered as relevant experience for this position.Job Types:
