Job Summary LaSalle Elementary and Early Learning Center is a dedicated and nurturing child care center committed to providing a safe, engaging, and educational environment for children. We are currently seeking passionate, responsible, and caring individuals to join our team and help make a positive impact in the lives of the children we serve. All who serve at Xavier Catholic Schools will witness by their public behavior, actions, and words a life consistent with the teachings of the Catholic Church.
Position Overview:
As a teacher for the School Age room in childcare, you will be responsible for supporting the social, emotional, and developmental needs of children in our care. You will work closely with a team of educators to create a safe and stimulating environment for children to learn, play, and grow.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and care for children in a group setting. Ensure children's safety and well-being at all times. Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff. Assist with meal times, nap routines, and other daily activities. Maintain a clean and organized environment. Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress and behavior.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in child care or a related field (preferred). High school diploma or equivalent; early childhood education coursework or degree is a plus. CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain). Strong communication and interpersonal skills. A caring, patient, and energetic attitude. Ability to work as part of a team and follow direction.
