Job Description
Co-Lead Two-Year-Old Teacher The Growing Patch Learning Center is growing, and so is our two-year-old classroom! We're looking for an enthusiastic, dependable, and nurturing Co-Lead Teacher to join our toddler team. This position will work alongside our other new lead teacher as equal partners in creating a classroom where busy, curious two-year-olds can learn, explore, build independence, and feel safe and loved. The oyster will be yours with full creative license to make the classroom yours with your partner. Our ideal candidate understands that two-year-olds are wonderfully messy, energetic, emotional, hilarious, and learning something new every minute! We're looking for someone who can embrace this stage of development with patience, consistency, creativity, and a great sense of humor. As a Co-Lead Teacher, you'll share responsibility for planning and implementing developmentally appropriate activities, maintaining classroom routines and organization, communicating with families, documenting children's learning and development, and providing attentive care throughout the day. We'd love someone who: Genuinely enjoys working with toddlers Is reliable, positive, patient, and energetic Works well as part of a teaching partnership Can confidently manage routines, transitions, behaviors, and a busy classroom Values strong relationships with children and families Is willing to learn and grow as an early childhood professional Experience in childcare or early childhood education is preferred, but the right personality, work ethic, and heart for children matter just as much to us.
