The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. This role involves creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young learners, fostering their development through engaging activities and educational experiences. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote childhood development and learning. Provide care for infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children in a daycare or classroom setting. Foster a positive classroom environment through effective classroom management techniques. Engage children in activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. Monitor and assess children's progress and behavior, implementing behavior management strategies as needed. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment. Collaborate with other staff members to create an inclusive atmosphere for children with disabilities or special needs. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including first aid protocols. Experience Candidates should possess the following skills and experience: Proven experience working with children in various settings such as daycare, preschool, or as a nanny/babysitter. Knowledge of early childhood education principles and childhood development theories. Experience in special education or working with individuals with disabilities is highly desirable. Familiarity with classroom management techniques to create an effective learning environment. First aid certification is preferred but not required at the time of application. Strong communication skills to interact positively with children, parents, and colleagues.
