Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Part-Time Baby Room Floater to join our vibrant early childhood education team. This versatile role offers the opportunity to support our infant and toddler classrooms, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children. As a floater, you will provide flexible coverage across multiple baby rooms, assist with daily routines, and promote positive developmental experiences. Responsibilities Provide consistent supervision and care for infants and toddlers, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Support classroom activities, including feeding, diapering, nap times, and age-appropriate play Assist with maintaining a clean, organized, and inviting classroom environment in compliance with health and safety standards Collaborate with lead teachers to implement developmental activities aligned with early childhood education principles Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's daily experiences, milestones, and any concerns Adapt quickly to different classroom needs by stepping into various baby rooms as required Follow mandated reporting laws to report any concerns related to child safety or well-being Requirements Prior experience working with infants and toddlers in daycare, preschool, or childcare settings is highly preferred Knowledge of child development instruction and early childhood education practices Certification in first aid and CPR (including pediatric first aid) is required or willing to obtain upon hire Familiarity with classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies for young children Ability to work part-time hours with flexibility to cover different shifts during the week Strong communication skills for parent interaction and team collaboration Understanding of mandated reporting laws related to child safety and protection Passion for caregiving, nurturing young children's growth, and creating a positive learning environment Join us in making a meaningful impact on children's early years!
