Afternoon/Evening Staff Part-Time Staff After School Care Staff Evening staff until 8pm We are a brand-new, high-quality early learning center looking for caring, energetic, and dependable individuals to join our team! Responsibilities Provide active supervision at all times to ensure children's safety and well-being Maintain proper staff-to-child ratios as required by Iowa HHS Ensure children are always within sight and sound supervision Conduct routine safety checks of indoor and outdoor environments Follow all emergency procedures (fire, tornado, lockdown, evacuation Foster a positive classroom environment through effective classroom management and behavior guidance strategies. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom that encourages exploration and independence. Requirements Must be at least 16 years old to apply Reliable and responsible Positive attitude and strong work ethic Enjoys working with children of all ages Willing to learn and be part of a team Willing to obtain and maintain all trainings required by the Iowa Department of Health and Human Services This may include (but is not limited to): Mandatory Reporter Training CPR/First Aid Certification Universal Precautions Child Development & Guidance Training Passport Essentials
