Job Description
KinderCare is seeking Teachers for our Hiawatha center to nurture and educate young children in a safe, engaging environment. In this role, you'll create developmentally appropriate lesson plans, lead play-based learning, and support social, emotional, and cognitive growth. You'll build strong relationships with families through regular communication and progress updates, maintain licensing and safety standards, and work closely with a collaborative, inclusive team. Responsibilities Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lessons and activities for young children. Maintain a safe, clean, and engaging classroom environment. Supervise children at all times, ensuring health and safety standards are met. Observe and document children's development and progress. Communicate regularly with families about children's experiences and milestones. Support social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. Collaborate with center staff to align with Kinder Care's curriculum and standards. Participate in training and professional development opportunities. Follow all state licensing regulations and Kinder Care policies. Contribute to an inclusive, welcoming classroom culture.
