Responsible for inspecting and testing products including cell phones, tablets, computing, gaming, and peripherals. Use various measuring devices to ensure compliance with specifications. Accepts or rejects devices and shipments and documents results. May perform visual, functional, or electrical inspection of parts, assemblies or final product in all stages of the diagnostic, grading and refurbishment process (incoming, in-process and final inspection).KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
(ESSENTIALRESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING
): Inspect and test devices for functional status. Inspect devices for cosmetic grading. Performs inspection tasks involving the using visual and software driven test instruments to Ensure compliance of parts and product with established specifications. Performs bar code transactions using company inventory control systems. Maintain records for each device using company inventory control mechanisms. Other responsibilities may be assigned from time to time as needed, based on the evolution of the company and the requirements of the department/position. Maintain high quality of workmanship within required production quantities.QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
High School degree or GED certificate required. 1 year experience in a technical testing or evaluation role with electronics hands-on experience. Moderate physical effort involving lifting of boxes. This is a standing position role, must be able to stand for shift requirements. Must have visual acuity of at least corrected 20/40 near vision with both eyes. Ability to read and write English and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Requires use of simple arithmetic (addition, multiplication, calculate averages), fixed and adjustable measuring instruments, simple use of charts, maintaining and understand records. Working knowledge of Microsoft suite of tools including Excel.PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Experience testing cell phones, tablets, computing, gaming and peripherals. Experience in electronics refurbishment and repair including cell phone, tablet, computing or related field.Job Type:
