Responsibilities Design and execute creative, developmentally appropriate lesson plans that incorporate literacy education, math, physical education, and social-emotional learning. Lead classroom activities that support childhood development milestones, including toddler care and preschool teaching strategies. Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive reinforcement and behavior management techniques. Communicate regularly with parents to share progress updates, address concerns, and foster collaborative relationships. Ensure classroom safety and hygiene standards are maintained in compliance with health regulations, including first aid and CPR protocols. Supervise assistant teachers and support staff to ensure smooth daily operations and high-quality instruction. Implement early intervention strategies for children requiring additional support or special education services. Position Requirements Proven experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings, demonstrating strong classroom management skills. Highschool Diploma or GED Must pass background check, state and federal CPR, First Aidm, and Mandatory Reporter certification, or willingness to obtain Ability to handle stressful situations and diffcult behaviors Experience in curriculum development with a focus on early childhood education principles. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and colleagues.
