Job Description
Job description Teachers will provide high-quality early education and child development services for enrolled infants, toddlers and 2-year-olds, including those with disabilities. Teachers will promote children's cognitive, social, and emotional growth for later success in school. Individuals must serve as an effective role model and possess high quality standards. Children's health and safety must be of high priority. Responsibilities include working with a co-teacher to implement a developmentally appropriate infant/toddler environment; Lesson planning consistent with the HighScope curriculum; Engaging in quality teacher-child interactions; Encouraging parental involvement in the classroom. Position is 40 hours per week - 50 weeks anticipate 12 months insurance coverage eligibility. Looking for a career in Early Childhood but only have a High School diploma/GED? We will train the right person and assist them in completing an infant/toddler center-based CDA credential!
Job Type:
Full-time, full year Education and/orExperience:
- Teacher CDA ($17.17/hr) - High School diploma/GED and a current infant/toddler center-based CDA credential (or attainment of the CDA credential within 12 months of hire); or a comparable certificate or credential that meets or exceeds the CDA credential.
- Teacher I ($18.40/hr) - Associate degree in early childhood education or related field as well as training or coursework
- with a focus on infant and toddler development (or attainment within 12 months of hire).
- Teacher II ($21.07/hr) - Baccalaureate or advanced degree in early childhood education or related field as well as training or coursework
- with a focus on infant and toddler development (or attainment within 12 months of hire).
- Training or coursework is 8 semester credits, 120 clock hours, or a combination of both.
