Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Full-time Childcare Provider to create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children of various ages. In this role, you will be responsible for caring for children in a childcare, ensuring their physical, emotional, and developmental needs are met with enthusiasm and professionalism. Your positive attitude and proactive approach will help foster a joyful atmosphere where children can thrive and feel secure. Duties Provide attentive supervision and care for children across different age groups, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. Administer meals and snacks Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, and physical development. Maintain a clean and organized environment such as cleaning and tidying up play areas and outdoor playgrounds. Support children with disabilities or special needs by implementing tailored caregiving strategies and working closely with families or specialists. Administer first aid and CPR when necessary, following safety protocols to ensure children's well-being at all times. Perform light cleaning duties related to childcare activities to maintain a hygienic environment. Collaborate with parents or guardians to follow specific routines, schedules, and care instructions. Foster positive relationships with children by providing nurturing support, encouragement, and consistent discipline. Qualifications Proven experience working with children in various settings such as nannying, babysitting, daycare centers, or private homes. Demonstrated ability to care for infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children with patience and understanding. Experience working with children who have disabilities or special needs is highly desirable. Valid certification in first aid and CPR from an accredited organization is preferred. Strong knowledge of childcare best practices, including infant care, toddler care, meal preparation, and cleaning. Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with families and team members. Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules or additional caregiving responsibilities as needed.
