About Us Kiddie Academy of Urbandale opened in May 2022, and we're growing fast! We're looking for passionate and dedicated early childhood educators to join our team. If you love working with children and want to make a difference every day, we'd love to meet you. Help us create a nurturing, educational, and fun environment for young learners—and a great workplace for teachers too! Responsibilities Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times Plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment Build positive relationships with children, parents, and fellow staff Communicate daily with families and team members Support academy cleanliness and tidiness through light cleaning tasks Follow Kiddie Academy's policies and procedures Qualifications Previous experience in a child care or early childhood education setting preferred Understanding of child development and age-appropriate practices CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain before start date) Strong communication and teamwork skills Positive, creative, and energetic attitude Dependable and organized with strong moral values Benefits Competitive pay ($16 - $18 per hour) Flexible schedule Paid time off Health insurance Employee discounts Professional development assistance Referral program Schedule Monday to Friday No nights or weekends Join our Kiddie Academy Family and help build a brighter future for young learners—apply today!
