As an Assistant Teacher, you'll work alongside our Lead Teachers to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children can learn, play, and grow. What You'll Do Support the daily care, supervision, and safety of children Assist with age-appropriate activities and classroom routines Build positive relationships with children, families, and teammates Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom Assist with meals, transitions, and daily care routines Support classroom documentation and communication Follow Kiddie Academy policies and Iowa childcare licensing requirements What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who brings heart, energy, and purpose to their work. A genuine love for working with young children Dependable, positive, and team-oriented Strong communication skills Previous childcare experience preferred, but not required CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain Must meet Iowa childcare licensing requirements Must be able to lift at least 40 lbs.
