Job Description
KinderCare is seeking Teachers for our Westlakes center to nurture and educate young children in a safe, engaging environment. In this role, you will design and lead developmentally appropriate activities, support social-emotional growth, and maintain a warm, inclusive classroom. You will partner closely with families, document children's progress, and uphold all health and safety standards. Responsibilities Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment for young children. Plan and implement developmentally appropriate, play-based lesson plans. Supervise children at all times, ensuring health, safety, and cleanliness standards are met. Observe and document children's growth, behavior, and developmental milestones. Communicate regularly and professionally with families about children's progress. Collaborate with co-teachers and center staff to support center goals and activities. Implement center and state licensing policies, procedures, and regulations. Support social-emotional learning through positive guidance and modeling. Set up and maintain engaging, age-appropriate classroom materials and learning centers. Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
