Alene, ID Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM | Weekends Off Join Our Team! Mountain Bluebird Learning Center is looking for a warm, dependable Floater Assistant Teacher to join our team. If you love working with young children, thrive in a hands-on role, and want a steady Monday-Friday schedule with weekends off, we'd love to meet you! What You'll Do As our Floater Assistant Teacher, you'll help create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for our youngest learners — stepping in during lunch and rest time so our lead teachers can recharge, and supporting the classroom throughout the afternoon. Greet and interact with children with a warm, inviting demeanor Model good social skills and support conversation during lunchtime Set up cots and blankets, and help children settle in for rest time Lead or support group activities as needed Use positive discipline and classroom management strategies Communicate with families regularly through our school app, Brightwheel Assist with diaper changes, bathroom breaks, and handwashing routines every 2 hours Clean and sanitize classroom materials and spaces Help maintain a clean, organized facility What We're Looking For A positive attitude and genuine love for working with children A team player who communicates well with coworkers and families Strong classroom management skills Reliable, predictable attendance — available Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:30 PM Current Pediatric First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain one) A cleared Idaho enhanced background check Physical Requirements Able to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs Able to stand and/or sit for extended periods Comfortable with frequent kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, climbing, and twisting Why Mountain Bluebird Learning Center? Pay:
$16.00 - $17.00 per hour
