Availability Required:
Monday-Friday, with the ability to work until 6:00 PM . What You'll Do As a Childcare Provider, you'll help create a warm, engaging classroom where children feel safe, valued, and excited to learn.
Responsibilities include:
Provide attentive, nurturing care for children ages 18 months-5 years Assist with planning and implementing fun, age-appropriate learning activities Create a structured daily routine including learning, play, meals, naps, and outdoor time Encourage positive behavior through patience, consistency, and encouragement Support children's cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development Build trusting relationships with children and their families Communicate professionally with parents about their child's progress and daily experiences Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized classroom Document accidents, incidents, illnesses, and behavioral observations Assist with potty training and diaper changes Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and team events Follow all licensing requirements and company policies
We're Looking For Someone Who Is:
Kind, patient, dependable, and positive Passionate about working with young children Professional and eager to learn A strong communicator and team player Looking for a long-term opportunity, not just a temporary job Qualifications Must be 18 years or older High school diploma or GED required Reliable transportation and a clean driving record Able to pass an enhanced Idaho background check Able to obtain Pediatric CPR & First Aid certification (renewed every two years) Able to complete required IdahoSTARS trainings annually Previous experience in childcare, preschool, daycare, nannying, babysitting, or early childhood education is preferred but not required—we're happy to train the right person!
