Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Daycare Worker/Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children of various ages, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. This role involves implementing educational activities, supervising children, and fostering social and emotional development in accordance with developmental best practices. Experience in early childhood education and childcare is essential to support the growth and well-being of our young learners. Duties Plan and execute age-appropriate educational activities that promote learning and development Supervise children during playtime, meals, naps, and structured activities Ensure the safety and well-being of all children at all times Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom environment Implement behavior management strategies to encourage positive social interactions Communicate regularly with parents regarding children's progress and daily activities Assist with diapering, feeding, and basic health needs as required Collaborate with team members to develop individualized care plans for children with special needs or disabilities Follow all licensing regulations and safety protocols, including first aid procedures when necessary Support children's emotional development through nurturing interactions and guidance Requirements Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or similar settings is highly preferred Knowledge of childhood development stages and age-specific needs Certification in first aid and CPR is required or willing to obtain upon hire Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive learning environment Excellent communication skills for interacting with children, parents, and team members Ability to handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment Compassionate attitude with patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for early childhood education Relevant certifications in early childhood education or childcare are advantageous but not mandatory Join our team to make a meaningful impact on children's lives by providing quality care and education in a supportive environment.
