Overview Join our vibrant early childhood education team as a Part-Time Daycare Assistant! In this dynamic role, you will play a vital part in creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for young children. Your enthusiasm and dedication will support their developmental milestones, foster positive social interactions, and ensure every child feels valued and cared for. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in children's lives while gaining valuable experience in early childhood education. Duties Supervise and engage children during daily activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Assist with classroom management by organizing activities that promote learning, creativity, and social skills Support children with diapering, feeding, nap times, and other routine care needs in accordance with health and safety standards Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning Follow mandated reporting laws to report any concerns related to child safety or well-being promptly Qualifications Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying, or similar settings is highly preferred Knowledge of child development instruction and early childhood education best practices Certification in first aid and CPR (including pediatric first aid) is required; ongoing training encouraged Familiarity with special education needs and experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members in a professional manner Commitment to creating an inclusive environment that respects diverse backgrounds and needs Join us to be part of a supportive team dedicated to nurturing young minds!
