KinderCare seeks Lead Teachers for our South Arlington Heights center to guide early learners through engaging, developmentally appropriate experiences. In this on-site role, you will design curriculum, lead classroom routines, and ensure a safe, nurturing environment. You'll mentor assistant teachers, observe and document children's progress, and build strong, ongoing partnerships with families. Working within an inclusive, growth-focused culture, you'll collaborate with colleagues, participate in professional development, and help shape a positive learning community for children and staff alike. Responsibilities Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate lessons and activities for young children. Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment. Lead and mentor assistant teachers and classroom support staff. Observe, assess, and document children's developmental progress. Communicate regularly with families about children's growth and daily experiences. Maintain compliance with childcare licensing, health, and safety standards. Collaborate with center leadership on curriculum implementation and center initiatives. Manage classroom routines, behavior expectations, and transitions effectively. Participate in professional development and continuous learning. Support enrollment and family engagement events at the center.
