We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our team. As a childcare Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds of young children and fostering their love for learning. If you have a strong background in child welfare, childhood development, and education, we encourage you to apply.Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and curriculum
- Create a nurturing and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow
- Teach children basic literacy, math, and social skills
- Incorporate physical education activities into daily routines
- Foster creativity through art, music, and play-based learning
- Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's progress
- Manage classroom behavior and ensure a safe and inclusive environment
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive learning community
Experience:
- Previous experience working with children in childcare setting is preferred
- Knowledge of childhood development theories and practices
- Strong literacy education background, including phonics instruction
- Experience in curriculum development and lesson planning
- Ability to create engaging math activities for young learners
- Knowledge of physical education techniques for preschool-aged children
- Excellent classroom management skills to promote positive behavior
Requirements:
- CDA, Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Valid teaching certification or license (if required by state)
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to pass a background check
