In this full-time role, you'll design and deliver an academically rich, play-based curriculum that supports social, emotional, and cognitive growth. You will ensure a safe, inclusive environment, closely supervise children, and maintain classroom organization and cleanliness. The Lead Toddler Teacher partners with families through regular communication and conferences, collaborates with a supportive team of educators, and participates in ongoing training and professional development. Responsibilities Lead a toddler classroom, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment Implement an age-appropriate, academically rich and play-based curriculum Observe, document, and support each child's developmental progress Communicate regularly with families to build strong school-home partnerships Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to plan activities and share best practices Maintain classroom organization, safety, and cleanliness in line with school policies Support inclusivity, positive behavior guidance, and social-emotional development Participate in professional development and continuous learning opportunities Required Skills Early childhood curriculum planning Child development assessment and documentation Classroom management for toddlers Health, safety, and supervision practices Family communication and conferencing Lesson planning and activity design Positive behavior guidance techniques Recordkeeping and compliance with licensing standards Collaboration with teaching teams Basic technology use for communication and documentation
