Katie's Kids Learning Center is looking for a caring, dependable, and enthusiastic Preschool Teacher to join our team! We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with young children and wants to create a classroom where children feel safe, loved, supported, and excited to learn. Our program is play-based and inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach, allowing teachers to follow children's interests, encourage curiosity, and create meaningful learning experiences through play. Responsibilities Provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children Plan and implement age-appropriate, play-based learning experiences Support children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development Build positive and trusting relationships with children and families Maintain an organized, clean, and welcoming classroom Follow classroom routines, center policies, and state licensing requirements Observe children and use their interests and development to guide curriculum Communicate professionally and positively with families and coworkers Maintain accurate classroom documentation and daily records Actively supervise children and maintain appropriate ratios at all times Work collaboratively with co-teachers and support staff Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and required trainings Help create a positive team environment and contribute to the overall success of the center What We're Looking For A genuine love for working with young children Reliable and dependable attendance Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team Strong communication skills Patience, flexibility, and the ability to remain calm in a busy classroom Ability to take direction and follow center policies Someone who is creative and enjoys learning through play Previous childcare or preschool experience preferred Early childhood education coursework or credentials preferred, but not required depending on experience Why Join Katie's Kids?
