We are excited to be opening a Pre-K classroom and are looking for a passionate, teacher-qualified Lead Teacher to help bring it to life. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced early childhood educator to build classroom culture from the ground up, create engaging learning experiences, and make a lasting impact on children and families. What You'll Do Lead and launch a new Pre-K classroom environment focused on learning, exploration, and kindergarten readiness Create engaging lesson plans and hands-on learning experiences aligned with developmental milestones Foster a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom culture Support children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development Build strong relationships with families through ongoing communication and partnership Mentor and collaborate with assistant teachers and center staff Maintain classroom organization, licensing compliance, and safety standards Help create a positive and welcoming experience for new students and families joining the classroom What We're Looking For Must meet Illinois Teacher Qualified requirements for licensed childcare centers Experience working in a Pre-K or early childhood classroom preferred Strong understanding of child development and classroom management Passion for creating engaging learning environments for young children Excellent communication and teamwork skills Positive, dependable, and professional attitude CDA, associate degree, or college coursework in Early Childhood Education preferred based on qualification pathway Why Join KinderCare?
