Job Description

Associates Degree in ECE or Related Field Required Bachelors Degree in ECE or Related Field Preferred (Coursework equivalent to at least 30 semester hours in Early Childhood Education is required if the degree is in a related field. Essential Function(s): Provide high-quality education and comprehensive services that promote children's learning, development, school readiness, and well-being by implementing developmentally appropriate practices, maintaining a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment, fostering positive relationships with children and families, and coordinating classroom operations with assigned classroom staff. Support the implementation of curriculum, child assessment, individualized learning experiences, Active Supervision, family engagement, and comprehensive services while ensuring compliance with Head Start Program Performance Standards, DCFS licensing requirements, agency policies, and applicable federal and state regulations.
