Sunny Kids Land is a brand new facility seeking a nurturing, passionate, and experienced Infant/Toddler Lead Teachers to join our early childhood education team. This role is responsible for creating a safe, stimulating, and developmentally appropriate environment for children ages 0-3 years. The Lead Teacher will plan and implement daily curriculum, provide responsive care, and lead classroom staff to ensure a high-quality learning experience for every child.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide a warm, safe, and responsive environment that supports the developmental needs of infants and toddlers. Plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities aligned with developmental milestones and learning goals. Foster positive relationships with children, families, and coworkers. Observe, assess, and document children's growth, behavior, and development using appropriate tools and techniques. Maintain a clean, organized, and child-friendly classroom environment. Supervise and mentor assistant teachers or aides in the classroom. Communicate effectively with families regarding their child's progress, routines, and any concerns. Ensure compliance with all licensing, health, and safety regulations. Participate in regular staff meetings, training, and professional development opportunities. Respond appropriately to emergencies and follow center protocols

Qualifications:

Associate or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or related field (minimum 6 ECE credits) or a CDA credential with at least 1 year of solid ECE classroom leadership experience. DCFS-Lead teacher qualified and able to meet all city/state licensing requirements. CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain). Food Handler's License (or willingness to obtain). Up-to-date physical, TB test, and immunizations. Excellent communication, organization, and classroom leadership skills. A team player with a positive, professional attitude who genuinely enjoys working with children.
