Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Daycare Assistant to join our vibrant early childhood education team. Duties Assist lead teachers in implementing age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development Supervise children during playtime, meals, naps, and outdoor activities to ensure safety and engagement Support classroom management by maintaining organized learning spaces and following established routines Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress, behavior, and daily experiences Help with diapering, feeding, and basic caregiving tasks for infants and toddlers as needed Follow all health and safety protocols including first aid procedures and mandated reporting laws to ensure a secure environment Participate in ongoing training related to childhood development instruction, special education needs, and behavior management strategies Qualifications Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, nannying, babysitting or similar settings is highly preferred Knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education practices Certification in first aid and CPR (including pediatric first aid) is required or obtainable upon hire Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus Strong classroom experience with toddler care, infant care, and preschool-aged children Excellent communication skills for parent interaction and team collaboration Ability to manage behavior effectively while fostering a positive learning environment Familiarity with mandated reporting laws and health & safety regulations in childcare settings Join us to inspire young minds in a lively environment where your dedication truly makes a difference! Pay:

$15.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 25.0 per week
