KinderCare is seeking Lead Teachers to guide children's learning and development in our Hillcrest Drive center. As a Lead Teacher, you will design and deliver engaging, age-appropriate curriculum that supports social, emotional, and academic growth. You'll create a safe, inclusive classroom where every child feels valued, partnering with families through regular communication about progress and milestones. In our collaborative, learning-focused culture, you'll work with other educators, uphold all safety and licensing standards, and participate in ongoing training. Responsibilities Plan and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum and daily activities for young children. Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment that supports social, emotional, and cognitive growth. Lead classroom routines, manage behavior positively, and model respectful interactions. Observe and document children's progress to inform instruction and share updates with families. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about children's development, milestones, and needs. Collaborate with center staff to support center-wide programs, events, and best practices in early childhood education. Ensure compliance with licensing, health, and safety regulations at all times. Mentor assistant teachers or classroom aides, supporting their professional growth. Maintain clean, organized, and engaging learning spaces and materials. Participate in ongoing professional development and training offered by Kinder Care.
