Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Lead Toddler Teacher to inspire and nurture the youngest learners in our early childhood education program. In this vital role, you will lead classroom activities, develop engaging curricula, and foster a safe, supportive environment where toddlers can explore, learn, and grow. Responsibilities Lead daily classroom activities, ensuring they are developmentally appropriate and engaging for toddlers Develop and implement innovative curriculum plans that incorporate literacy, math, physical education, and social-emotional learning aligned with early childhood standards Manage classroom behavior using positive behavior management techniques to promote a respectful and nurturing environment Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns to foster strong home-school partnerships Oversee classroom safety protocols, including first aid and CPR procedures, adhering to mandated reporting laws and child welfare policies Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and support staff to ensure high-quality instructional delivery and classroom management Maintain detailed documentation of child development progress, assessments, and standardized testing results as required Skills Extensive experience working with children in early childhood or preschool settings, with a focus on toddlers Strong knowledge of child development instruction, curriculum development, and classroom management techniques Familiarity with special education needs, early intervention strategies, and behavior management approaches Excellent communication skills for effective parent engagement and team collaboration Proven ability to plan lessons that incorporate literacy education, math concepts, physical activities, and Montessori or other educational philosophies Certification in first aid and CPR; understanding of mandated reporting laws is essential Experience teaching physical education or tutoring young children is a plus Knowledge of childhood development standards, standardized testing procedures, and child welfare policies. Must have an Infant/Toddler Credential through Gateways. Pay:
$18.00 - $24.52 per hour
