KinderCare is seeking dedicated Lead Teachers for our Sleepy Hollow center to guide young children's learning and development. As a Lead Teacher, you will design and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate curriculum, model best practices for classroom staff, and ensure a safe, inclusive environment. You'll build strong partnerships with families, observe and document children's progress, and collaborate with a supportive team that values diversity, growth, and high-quality early childhood education. Lead classroom instruction and model best teaching practices for assistant teachers. Observe, assess, and document children's progress and developmental milestones. Maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing classroom environment that meets licensing standards. Communicate regularly with families about child progress and center activities. Collaborate with center leadership to align with Kinder Care educational standards. Support and coach classroom staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and inclusion. Manage classroom behavior using positive guidance strategies. Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and state childcare regulations. Participate in professional development and continuous improvement initiatives.
