Job Description

KinderCare seeks Assistant Teachers for our Sleepy Hollow center to support high-quality early childhood education. In this role, you'll help implement engaging, age-appropriate activities, supervise children, and maintain a safe, nurturing classroom. Working closely with lead teachers, you'll assist with lesson preparation, daily routines, and positive behavior support. You'll build strong relationships with children and families while upholding health, safety, and licensing standards. Responsibilities Support lead teachers in implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum and daily activities. Supervise children to ensure safety, engagement, and positive behavior. Prepare and organize classroom materials, learning centers, and supplies. Assist with meals, toileting, and transitions while maintaining hygiene standards. Foster a warm, inclusive environment that supports social and emotional growth. Communicate positively with children, families, and team members. Follow center policies, licensing regulations, and safety procedures. Observe and report children's progress and any concerns to lead teachers or supervisors.
