Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with the proprietary Life Essentials curriculum, focusing on early literacy, motor skills, social-emotional growth, and basic math concepts Foster a safe, nurturing classroom environment that encourages curiosity and independence among infants and toddlers Manage classroom routines including diapering, feeding, nap times, and activity transitions with patience and professionalism Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns to build strong partnerships Supervise assistant teachers and support staff to ensure high-quality care and effective classroom management Maintain compliance with mandated reporting laws, health and safety regulations, including first aid and CPR certification requirements Use behavior management strategies to promote positive social interactions and resolve conflicts constructively Requirements Proven experience working with children in early childhood settings, particularly with infants and toddlers Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, curriculum development, and classroom management techniques Experience with special education needs, early intervention strategies, and behavior management approaches Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners Certification in first aid and CPR; ongoing commitment to health and safety standards Familiarity with mandated reporting laws related to child welfare and protection Demonstrated ability in lesson planning, classroom experience, and implementing literacy education strategies Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining flexibility in a dynamic environment Join us at Kiddie Academy where your dedication can shape the future of young learners!
