Job Description
KinderCare is seeking Lead Teachers for our New Lenox center to guide young children's learning and development. In this role, you will design and deliver developmentally appropriate curriculum, create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom, and build strong partnerships with families. You'll observe and document children's progress, support social-emotional growth, and ensure licensing and safety standards are met. As part of KinderCare's collaborative culture, you'll mentor assistant teachers and grow professionally while making a meaningful impact every day. Responsibilities Lead and manage an early childhood classroom, ensuring a safe, nurturing environment. Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate, engaging lessons and activities. Observe, assess, and document children's developmental progress. Communicate regularly with families regarding student growth and daily experiences. Ensure compliance with state childcare licensing and center policies. Mentor and collaborate with assistant teachers and support staff. Maintain organized classroom materials, records, and learning spaces. Support center-wide initiatives and contribute to a positive, inclusive culture.
