Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Preschool Lead Teacher (Twos) to inspire young learners and foster their early childhood development. In this vital role, you will create a nurturing classroom environment, implement engaging lesson plans, and support children's social, emotional, and cognitive growth. Your enthusiasm and expertise will help lay the foundation for lifelong learning and curiosity. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum tailored for two-year-olds, incorporating literacy education, early intervention strategies, and basic math concepts. Create a safe, welcoming classroom environment that promotes positive behavior management and classroom management techniques. Engage children in activities that support physical development, social skills, and emotional well-being. Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns, fostering strong partnerships. Maintain accurate documentation of child development progress and adhere to mandated reporting laws when necessary. Collaborate with team members to plan lessons that incorporate childhood development principles and standardized testing where applicable. Ensure compliance with health and safety standards by maintaining first aid and CPR certifications and following childcare regulations. Requirements Proven experience working with young children in a preschool or childcare setting, especially with toddlers. Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles, child development instruction, and behavior management techniques. Experience developing curricula that include literacy education, math skills, physical education, and special education strategies such as early intervention. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members. Certification in first aid and CPR required; ongoing professional development preferred. Familiarity with mandated reporting laws related to child welfare is essential. Classroom experience demonstrating effective classroom management and lesson planning skills. Ability to work collaboratively within a team dedicated to providing high-quality preschool teaching.
