Part-Time Assistant Teacher (Toddler / Preschool ) Job Overview We are seeking a diligent, compassionate, and reliable Part-Time Assistant Teacher to join our team in supporting either our toddler or 3-6-year-old classroom.

PM Status:

Part-time 20-25 hours/week Key Responsibilities Assist lead teachers in directing daily classroom activities. Maintain a safe, supportive, and well-organized learning environment. Supervise children during playground time, gym activities, and nap periods. Handle light housekeeping duties to keep the classroom clean and sanitized. Participate in staff meetings, school events, and team planning. Qualifications Completed (or willing to complete) at least 6 college-level credit hours in Child Development. Associate's degree OR equivalent early childhood work experience required. Degree in Early Childhood Education / Child Development is a strong plus. Knowledge of or interest in the Montessori philosophy is a plus. Strong communication skills and a genuine dedication to children's growth. Must pass state/federal background checks (DCFS clearance) and medical exam/TB test).
