Job Description
We are seeking an Assistant Teacher who is dependable, collaborative, and genuinely enjoys working with young children. The ideal candidate is passionate about Waldorf education, observant, flexible, and values being part of a teaching team that approaches each day with warmth, intention, and care. Responsibilities Support the lead teacher in carrying the daily rhythm of the classroom. Help prepare and care for the classroom environment and materials. Assist with indoor and outdoor activities, meals, transitions, and daily classroom needs. Foster a calm, nurturing atmosphere where children feel secure and supported. Work collaboratively with the teaching team while helping maintain a beautiful and orderly environment. Qualifications Experience working with young children is preferred. Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field. An appreciation for Waldorf education or a desire to deepen your understanding of this approach. Reliable, organized, and able to work as part of a collaborative team. Able to meet all state licensing requirements and successfully complete required background checks.
